What if I only want to see my communications with a particular user?

There is an alternative way of looking up the exchanged content:

  • 1. The particular user you had in mind may appear on your Feed with a post they have shared directly with you, or they may have shared a file with one of the Places you are in — either way, bring your mouse on top of their name.
  • 2. A modal window will appear with their full name, username and an enlarged profile picture. You will also notice two icons: one of a magnifier and the other of a Compose button.
  • 3. Click on the magnifier icon

    .

This will lead you to a page entirely devoted to the conversations between you and that particular user; you can scroll down all the way to the beginning of your first interactions. You will be able to detect an overlapping juxtaposition of profile pictures of you and the user at the top of the page with a header that says Conversations with [name of the user].

Why does Nested suggest me contacts when I’m searching?

To speed up the searching process and help you get more done in less time, we suggest you users and Places as you type. These suggestions are based on your recent correspondences from your Nested account or your past searches.
