Agent settings

General, Memory, and Automations tabs — only for agents you own.

Why it works this way

An owned agent needs a quiet place for name, who may message it, start/stop, attached knowledge, activity reports, and retirement. Shared agents you did not create have no gear.

Before you start

Steps

  1. General → Agent: name, task acceptance, secret bindings, and delete at the bottom.
  2. General → Runtime: status plus Start, Stop, or Redeploy.
  3. General → Knowledge: attach or detach shared knowledge centers and set Read & write or Read only. Nested Platform and the agent’s own memory stay locked on.
  4. General → Activity: that agent’s day, week, and month reports.
  5. Memory: the agent’s private memory studio.
  6. Automations: this agent’s schedules and triggers, plus a link to the raw bindings.

Example

Rename “research” to “briefing”, switch task acceptance to Only me, and stop the agent overnight from Runtime.
