Preferences and profile

Theme, language, motion, read-aloud, and the display name Nested uses for you.

Why it works this way

Long sessions should match how you already work: light or dark, English or Persian, motion on or off, and a name agents and notifications can use.

Before you start

• Open Settings from the account menu or the Settings tab.

Steps

1. Preferences: theme (light, dark, system), motion (on, off, system), language (English or Persian).
2. Profile: display name, and sign out when you are done on this device.
3. Motion off (or OS reduce-motion) removes pulses and pane slides; chat still updates instantly.
4. Read long messages adds a listen button to long replies — speech uses a voice already on your device, including Persian when one is installed.

Example

Set theme to System, motion to Off, and language to Persian. Nested switches to RTL without changing your agents.
