Notifications

Devices, event prefs, history, and a test send — especially when a task needs you.

Why it works this way

Attention badges only help while Nested is open. Notifications cover the gap when you are in another task, another device, or away.

Before you start

• Open Settings → Notifications. Register this device if Nested asks, and allow the browser or OS prompt.

Steps

1. Choose which events should notify you. Prefer task-needs-attention if you run work in parallel.
2. Review history and send a test to confirm the device is live.
3. Live updates use the public ntfy URL Nested already configured for the account.

Example

Enable “task needs me”, leave a long research task, and get a ping on your phone when the agent asks a clarifying question.
