Deploy an agent
A short wizard: name, pack, secrets, and who may send tasks. Cluster and Helm stay on the console.
Why it works this way
You should be able to stand up an agent you own — or pick one that already answers anyone — without an ops form. Advanced overrides belong in the dashboard.
Before you start
- Have a Nested account. Create any API keys the pack will need as secrets first, or add them in the wizard.
- Open New agent from the plus in the sidebar, or from the mobile agent list.
Steps
- Choose an existing agent that answers anyone, or create your own.
- Name the deployment with lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes.
- Pick a pack (and an ACP agent if the catalog asks). Bind secrets the pack declared.
- Set task acceptance to Only me or Anyone signed in, then confirm. Nested lands you in chat on the new agent.
Example
Create “research”, pick a browsing pack, bind a search API secret as Only me, and deploy. The new agent appears in the sidebar when it is running.
