Scheduled tasks
Have an agent start a prompt on chosen weekdays or a repeating interval, in a workspace you choose.
Why it works this way
Recurring work should not depend on you remembering to open the thread. A schedule is a named cadence plus a prompt — the simplest kind of automation.
Before you start
- Own an agent. Open its settings → Automations, then the Schedules link under Raw bindings — or create a schedule trigger in Automations.
Steps
- Create a schedule: name, timezone, prompt, and either weekday chips with a time of day or an interval.
- Pick an existing workspace or create one so spawned tasks have a topic.
- Pause, run now, or edit from the detail page. History links into chat when a task id exists.
Example
Every weekday at 09:00 Asia/Tehran, start “Summarize overnight GitHub activity” in the Launch workspace.
