Desktop and Terminal
Peek at the agent’s machine: a graphical desktop or a shell, without embedding chat on that screen.
Why it works this way
Some work is easier to verify by watching the desktop or running a command than by reading a chat summary. The session is a focused view, not a second home.
Before you start
- The agent must be running (ready replicas). Desktop and Terminal stay explained-disabled until it is.
Steps
- From the chat header or agent menu, open Desktop or Terminal.
- Use the tabs on the session screen to switch views.
- Leave the session when you are done — chat stays on Home, not inside this route.
Example
The agent claims it installed a CLI. Open Terminal and run the version command to confirm before you continue the task.
